| 557 | Anonymous | As an "outsider" I find it disturbing and somewhat hypocritical that, on the one hand dingoes are considered a "native animal" and strictly regulated regarding export, yet they're treated as pests an vermin. These are special animals and I wish more people were aware of their plight. Treating them as pests does nothing to raise awareness about their unique place in your ecosystem, and perpetuates the international stereotype abroad that they are only good for a "dingo-got-my-baby" joke. It's so sad. There are people with money and resources who can promote the cause for these animals, but there needs to be ambassadors abroad as well. Fraser Island is a world heritage site, and that includes its dingoes. | US |

| 564 | Samantha Davin. | I've always thought the dingo was unfairly treated; in many instances; humans should leave them alone; as they are an endangered spieces. P.S. I love Dingoes that much; that my second ute has been called 'Dingo Dancer' as they are beautiful creatures. I say save all the pure dingoes. | AU |
| 565 | Georgina Simon | Please help save the dingo and place it in its rightful place,as an Australian native dog,not a pest nor a noxious animal. | AU |
| 566 | Stacy Hopkins IV | Save the Dingo! Please put this beautiful animal on the Endangered Species list. Please grant full protection for this animal. Barbaric killing of an animal is not the way. There are ways we as humans and animals (especially the dingo) can co-exist together. Please SAVE THE DINGO!!! | US |

| 569 | Neil Ford | If anyone believes the pure dingo species will not disappear then take the time to learn about the dmise and subsequent extinction of the thylacine or tasmanian tiger.
This animal had survived for thousands of years only to be exterminated in about 100 years by the greed and ignorance of the government of the day.
Lets not let out government take our dingo down the same sad path | AU |

| 581 | Stacey Deacon | To our politicians: The dingoes need to be saved!! REMOVE them from the pests and vermins list and ADD them to the ENDANGERED species list NOW!! Something drastically needs to be done about the population of the dingoes. Tear the fence down and make it illegal to hunt and shoot dingoes. | AU |

It is a shame this amazing creature is so misunderstood and has suffered through bad press and sensationalist journalism.
