Name: Tim on Jul 9, 2007Comments: Washington DC is a unique and wonderful city that offers myriad activities and events for adults, young adults, family and friends. Friends visit from cities like New York and Boston and immediately realize the special nature and enjoyment of DC. The Deck was an active and important attribute of that personality. Its friendly environment and its casual approach attracted adults of all ages every night. It was the place to go for outdoor enjoyment and taking it away hurts the very fabric for which the community is built. I, along with countless other Washingtonians strongly oppose losing this vital institution and ask for serious consideration.Flag
