Name: Erik Burton on Oct 11, 2010Comments: Keep the Carousel and the POP Jet fountain... Taking them away to make more shopping room? Its like saying your not wanting happy shoppers. All the people like to watch the kids... I like to see the kids play in the water myself.Flag

Name: Barbara Jones on Oct 17, 2010Comments: What a shame. Maybe Irvine Co. execs just leave their kids with nannies so and don't realize the memories created on carousels. I'm in my 60's but I fondly recall my older brother taking me to the Fun Zone carousel in the 1950's. I guess "Facist" Island is telling us to take our kids, our grand-children, our visiting friends and relatives with children...to South Coast Plaza (where you can get a free stroller rental) and shop with children, enjoy their carousel and spend in their stores. What is next? The hot dog cart is probably on shaky ground unless he sells Haute Dogs.Flag

My kids have long since grown up, but I see many young families that shop @ Fashion Island and I am sure the carousel is an important destination when shopping at Fashion Island. Please, have a heart and make room for a wonderful feature of Fashion Island.Flag
