As most of you may already know, the Playa Linda Beach Bar is supposed to be knocked down by this coming October. This bar, which has been here since the beginning, is our home away from home. We have had so many unforgettable memories and have cherished all of them deeply for years. This fact can undoubtedly be attributed to the extremely friendly workers, such as Saskhia, Claudia, and Ellen. All of these employees have made bonds with various types of people who have come across the Playa Linda. We do not want the Hyatt bar. We do not want new employees. We do not want our memories destroyed. We want the Playa Linda Beach Bar to stay, along with Raffy, Saskhia, Claudia, and Ellen; these current employees also do not want to work for another employer. If the current General Management feels that the Beach Bar should be replaced by a Hyatt-type bar, it should be put to the membership of the Playa Linda to vote on whether or not the current bar should be replaced with a new owner.
