AnonymousBadgers have and still are, being slaughtered in ireland. for over two decades. Result: A 13% increase in Bovine TB 2007. The facts are there.
AnonymousFarmers, get your act together and stop scapegoating badgers. 60,000 badgers killed in Ireland and cattle TB up by 13%. Facts speak for themselves.
Annemarie van DiepenbeekAlso outside the UK people are very worried about the badger killing taking place in the UK.
Bert HesseAn uncivilised way to treat protected wild animals
Amber Livingston
Sandra Dudleyall the science says that killing badgers will make no meaningful contribution to the control of Tb in cattle, the emphasis must be placed on better and more frequent testing, tighter movement controls and improved cattle husbandry. killing badgers is a waste of taxpayers money and the majority of badgers will not even have the disease
Janet SullivanWhen is this fiasco going to stop. How many more petitions do we have to sign before someone will listen and save our protected wild life?

r fosterthere is no scientific evidence to show that killing badgers helps the TB situation in farming.Millions of pounds have already been spent proving this. The Irish situation also demonstrates that killing does not help in any way.
Roger CottisThe scientific work undertaken over the past 20 years and especially the work and conclusions of the Independant Scientific Group should be adhered to. Badgers are wild animals and react in a totally different way to farm stock; culling is not a viable option and can not be equated to removing captive farm animals in, for example a foot & mouth outbreak. Stop and think through the scientific facts.
