| 861 | mark macdonald | i am in ontario but we have seen great blows to the standarbred industry recently.quebec's flagship track in montreal close . at one time not to long ago blue bonetts was one of the best places to race in north america.as a industry we can't afford to lose any more tracks.this would be a huge blow to the racing in alberta and to standarbred racing in general. |

| 865 | Heather Hofacker | this is another example of burocrats who would rather support the continually support the fat cat corporations and ignore the livelyhood of thousands of people who have chosen this industry which continually gets the short end of the stick. I applaud your efforts to save your sport in Alberta! |

| 879 | J.Heaman | Standardbred racing needs suitable tracks across the country and Northlands provided that for the horsemen of AB, many tracks have both thoroughbred and standardbreds racing on their surfaces and seem to be able to accomodate all the runners and the pacers,so perhaps some good oldfashioned negotiations is called for.
Good Luck with keeping the sulkies in Edmonton! |

| 885 | John McIntosh | Alberta Standardbreds have supported our feed products for years. They need a viable place to race! |
| 886 | don porter | If it weren't for the standardbred the oil fields would never have been discovered some 100 years ago ...don't turn your back ...the standardbred needs his racing job now ...put him out of work and you will eliminate the breed in Alberta. |

| 892 | Sam Taylor | I reviewed all the names on this petition and note there are quite a few "prominent" horsemen's names missing. Where are they? Do they have any thing to contribute? having purses of 90,ooo and total wagering of 125ooo just does not compute. It seems to me that the ASHA board was in over it"s head or did not give a damn obout harness racing. GOOD LUCK. |
