| 801 | Marilyn McKinnon | This is a disgrace in "RICH" Alberta. Everyone check out the northlands website, their players magazine online, Your Inside Edge, article titled, It's a Whole New Ball Game. See the wonderful things Scott Haskins, Les Butler & Jerry Bouma have to say & the respect our "industry partners have for us all! |

| 807 | The Gloves are Off | I will strongly urge the members of ASHA and the public at large to contact your MLA’s immediately! This is sabotage to our industry. This is wrong and we need to stand together and speak to the Government of Alberta. Now!!!! People need to be held accountable for the their actions at every level. I urge you to call your MLA as this is disastrous for our industry. |
| 808 | Sarah Donaghy | As a standardbred owner and at one time breeder, we need to make sure we have avenues for these horses to do what they are bred for. Dont take away another place for them to do considering the hits already being taken in the standardbred industry already. |

| 817 | Al McIntosh | The standardbred industry is as important to the economy of Alberta as any industry. Not only is it a major employer but it is a major consumer of agricultural product as well as other consumer staples. A healthy standardbred industry in Alberta is good for tthe standardbred industry in Canada. |
| 818 | Glen Mitchell | We need every track to be open for our next GEREATION of harnessracing people to be able to come through. We have LET them HAVE IT.

| 824 | Rob McLaughlin | Hey you have my full support. I'm an Ontario horseman, and we have it very lucky out here compared to other provinces with our slot money and numerous racetracks. I wish the Alberta horseman the best of luck in the fight that is sure to come. I hope for their sakes that they prevail. I for one would not know what to do without my harness horses. |

| 827 | Rae Gale | You saw what happened in Quebec because of politics - don't let it happen to you!!!! |
| 828 | Gary Hughes | I've read these letters and find this disturbing. At one time I was a trainer owner at Truro raceway in N.S.I grew up in the industry and seen first hand the damages that situtions like this bring to the industry. On the east coast when Sackville Downs closed there doors it all most killed the sport for the east coast.I agree people have to stand together and try to right this injustice. |

You need to get the pucblic betting on the races again by making many changes to the sport.
In the most difficult times comes the more imagitive ideas. Keeping working on the answer.
You have to make it worth the investment for the racetracks.
Best of luck |
