Name: Judy Bresch on Mar 10, 2009Comments: I was hired at ACTC in 2004 full time I had been there in a part time capacity since 2001. Dr. Adkins told me than there was no more tenure. It was not long after that that an employee was rehired after being gone for about 1 or 2 years moved into a tenure position in our nursing office. I asked how can I wor toward tenure I was told it was up to Dr. Adkins to give it. Where is the fairness in that As a masters prepared nurse I know I could go to the hospital setting and make more money but, I choose to teach instead. I do not think job security is to much to ask.Flag
