Donna Paul | We just returned from Ireland and saw the Hill of Tara. We were awed by the beauty and historical significance of this site and dismayed that its destruction by a motorway could even be contemplated. We were also upset that the site was so badly signed, difficult to find and no guide available. The hilltop where the high kings were crowned was being used as a sheep pasture.

Carole Taylor | I am proud to have been born in Northern Ireland despite all the bad publicity it has had over recent years. Though our island has been divided for many years I believe our heritage should be preserved, cherished, and promoted but not destroyed. Please hear the voices of what the islands people want.
dave hamill | please dont ruin a site like this with the ever spreading network of urbanisation that we seem intent on continuing down the path of....

Anonymous | as an archaeology student i oppose the construction of the m3 motarway through tara.this is one of irelands most popular sites and it would be a utter disaster to ruin this site for ireland as a whole and for the future generation.

Alan Corcoran | This Motorway should be rerouted. There is no argument, Tara is on the verge of UNESCO site status. No other country would ever consider what the Irish Government are planning to do.

Asociacion CĂrculo DruĂdico IbĂ©rico (Iberian Druidic Circle Association) | We hereby manifest the INDIGNATION that the “AsociaciĂłn CĂrculo DruĂdico IbĂ©rico” (Iberian Druidic Circle Association) feels, in connection to the execrable event that would be the construction, in Ireland, of the M3 highway, which would pass through the archaeological complex of Tara Hill, a sacred Land, not only for our Irish brothers, but also for all the Celts of Europe, and a place of extreme veneration for all those, whether druids or not, that profess the Celtic religion. We also manifest our deepest SOLIDARITY with the people of Ireland, that have to watch, powerlessly, how corruption and money are so arrogant as to dare to destroy/devastate even what is most dear to them, that which constitutes the heart and soul of those people.
