Comments: Station 5 was stratigically placed and is needed. Due to the large open park the homes and people living by deserve a fast response. This station is needed!

Comments: As a former RA for UHFS at Chico State and still current First Responder, I came to rely heavily on the Chico Fire Department on almost a monthly if not weekly basis at times. The ability for Chico Fire to have the resources necessary to respond to emergencies is vital for the safety of this town. There will inevitably be emergencies that call for their aid each and every day; not providing the proper resources necessary is a detriment to this beautiful city and puts its citizen's lives at risk every single day.

Comments: Unfortunately this is what Progressives do :( They usually make cuts to areas like Fire, Police and Teachers because they know if they cut the same across the board they will not get the same amount of attention and outcry from the public. Cuts from departments that most citizens don’t even know exists or think we need doesn’t get the council the future tax increases that they need. It is sad to see that the current majority in the City Council still don’t want to make the tuff decisions that this city needs from REAL leadership :( Thank you for what you are trying to do Toby!!!
