Comments: Why shut down these fire stations, having them close by make you feel safe, in case of any emergency they are close by

Comments: To loose a station so close to so many historical monuments would be tragic. The crews have a good knowledge of sites that need careful negotiation. These sites bring in many visitors, and their valuable tourism, to London every year and they need to feel safe. Also I find it unbelievable that a station so close to London Bridge Station could be closed, a terrorism attack cannot be ruled out and the memory of disasters at busy underground stations cannot be ignored.
