    Comments: This is ridiculous. Boston needs to have a place where people can go to eat after 2AM besides 7Eleven. Especially one with such historic relevance. Look at New York City do you think they would ever be allowed to close a diner We only have one and that makes Boston look bad. Please keep this Diner open to keep our culture and history alive!! This would be a tremendous mistake of our legislature and a tragic ending to an icon of Boston.

    Comments: Dear sirs: I have been attending South St. diner for close to 10 years and I believe that they are a part of what makes Boston a thriving, vibrant and above all interesting city. As it is, establishments that serve late evening fare are few and far between in our fair city. I ask that you not allow the inexorable forces of gentrification put this little piece of Boston out of business.
