I have been going here for years, so have other friends and family. So, some new tenants move to the area are now fussing So wrong!!!! Leave the South Street Diner as is.Flag

Name: Lou Rizzo on Jun 30, 2009Comments: as a south end resident i see this story all too often. this establishment sits in the middle of the24/7 neighborhoods of the theatre district, chinatown, and south station. it has served the community since 1947, this is certainly not a "new" phenom and the opposing residents should have clearly been aware of this before they purchased their downtown loft. this is after all a city, and this is one of the few neighborhoods in an otherwise quiet city that actually goes 24/7 with the establishment providing a valuable & nessecary service.Flag

The South Street is an institution in this city, and it would be terrible to lose a business that brings so much to the city and lives of residents.Flag
