Name: Pat Ferguson on Mar 12, 2010Comments: My personal opinion is that time has come for the Bermudian people to take serious action against the PLP Government - and that is in the form of a mass march on the cabinet building with foreigh media present. This march would require thousands and thousands of people and I feel people are are so upset with this Government on so many issues, the numbers can be obtained. Since there are so many issues afoot here, they all need to be addressed. This action needs to be organized properly with advertising to rally the people - and as it is not only Southlands in question, placards should be made stating every issue that is confronting us. You can count on me to participate and to help in any way I can. I too want to save my country from a bunch of rapists. Sincerely, Pat FergusonFlag

Name: Ian Boatman on Mar 12, 2010Comments: It is eminently sensible to protect our nation's near-pristine areas, such as Southlands, for the enjoyment of the public. Fortunately we have a larger and "brownfield" site (Morgan's Point) that can be used for a variety of developments. It is to the advantage of the developers that such developments on Morgan's Point can be both denser and more extensive. Why would our elected representatives in Parliament want to block such a swap?Flag

Name: Kay Steele on Mar 12, 2010Comments: It is unconscionable that such a natural treasure would be trashed for yet more concrete, when there is a perfectly suitable larger site available for swap. This was decided and signed off on. Keep to that decision.Flag
