Name: Nona on Jun 4, 2012Comments: kill it! I understand kpineeg Corvette safe from competition internally, but Camaro? I know why the new GTO was not received well and I say shame on those who complained about it, I like it and still want one because its a GTO in spirit (V8, Rear drive, Manual, 2 doors, 4 seats) and the closest you were going to get to one.If the car brand comes back it needs to be more diverse in it's demographic than it was at the end. It needs to cater to the young and the struggling middle aged(me) who REALLY wants to buy one. A 16 year old who wants a Pontiac should have some great offerings to choose from rather than buying a Honda Civic and installing a fart muffle to call it a fast car. I think that if you want a stick it shouldn't cost extra and comes in ANY of Pontiac's offerings, if you don't want leather it's cheaper, if you delete the radio and air conditioning you maybe able to afford it. TO be able to buy a WS-6 package on a base Firebird with a Ram Air LS in it would have been great if you can delete the extra crap and get the price to a point where you don't have to spend all you make to afford it (Remember the Mongoose). We all know that we are guilty of coveting what others have right? Well I see the guy with the 2006 GTO and I wished I could have afforded it, I covet his car and it would have been the same if I was 16. So why not make Pontiac an affordable avenue to bring in the younger crowd into the mix and make sure that those of us who aren't made of money can afford one too. I like the idea of buying your base model with the best performance and adding things to make it the way you want it (besides a base model bird with WS-6 suspension and a LS Ram Air without the added weight would be fun to Autocross).Keep the hope alive!Flag

Name: Gary on Jun 4, 2012Comments: I am very disappointed in the foecrd shut-down of Pontiac. You see I was raised in a Pontiac dealership, have owned over 30 Pontiacs in my life so far, have a 2009 G8 GT, ordered new with 5000 miles and own a 1985 Fiero GT still in excellent condition with 134000 miles. We still have 7 Pontiacs in our imediate family! We will not be buying GM products until they bring Pontiac back. In fact I bought a new Toyota last summer! GM, if you ever want my business back, I'll be waiting until I can get a new Pontiac! Until then forget it! Also, I visited China in 2009 and was amazed to see thousands of Pontiac vans everywhere with Buick markings on them. I guess that is one way to get Buick's numbers up. Any idiot can drive down the interstate and see there are many more Pontiacs on the road as Buicks, even now. Oldsmobile was an easy call. GM will suffer forever with it's decision to make Chevy and Buick happy. You killed every great idea Pontiac ever had (ie; Firebird/TransAm, Fireo, G8 to name just a few.) just to prop up other divisions. WE WON'T FORGET!Flag

They should of made it more powerful in se and gt models but for reliability I haven't found a car yet to out beat my 98 suinfre in reliability it has over 180,000, miles all iv replaced is transmission fluid at 150,000 for preventive measure and coolant at 120,000 miles as preventive measure then brakes once at 110,000 and tires once spark plugs and writers at 105,000 as preventive measure and oil changes every 3,000 miles IV owned this car since it only had 400 miles! GM JUST BRING PONTIAC BACKFlag

Name: Imanaka on Jun 6, 2012Comments: Hi Meredith,I'm so sorry to belatedly read about the cslniog of your online shadow puppet business the designs are awesome!!!I'm an elementary art teacher and I love making shadow puppets with students.I wondered if you could give me tips on the exact size (and hopefully any bulk order info) for the alligator clips you used in your stick controls. Along with the Velcro tab (I watched the Martha Stewart clip!) ,this is definitely less cumbersome and more sturdy than other methods. I work with many children, and the cost of small packets of those alligator clips is prohibitive.Any specific tips on size, order info, where to get the alligator clips in bulk more cheaply would be GREATLY appreciated! All the best in your continuing creative endeavors,Ellen B.Flag
