Name: Anonymous on Aug 6, 2009Comments: We need to protect any and all green spaces- already too many cranes are being spotted along Univeristy Blvd erecting monstrous buildings in a place with dwindling infrrastructure. Developers need to relocate and to the areas around the out concentric circle that would make a nice route to deviate 95 traffic around our 495. Let them develop that - an outer concentric cricle and its ramps into those areas- and they can build what they like for those passengers who need to stop, rest, eat, and more- we have enough inside that future outer circle for what we need today or what we can take care of today in the way of traffic, schools, teaching staff and more... NO MORE DEVELOPING HERE- UNLESS YOU WANT URBAN SPRAWL WE ARE TAPPING OUT OF EVERYTHING HERE- LET"S FIX the problems we have here before getting more people out here. DEVELOP THE OUTER CIRCLE ARUOND OUR 495 FOR 95 TRAVELERS AND DECONGEST OUR 495 AND 95 BEFORE YOU DO ANY MORE BUILDING PLEASE!!!!! IT IS A SIN TO SEE BUMPER TO BUMPER TRAFFIC FOR SO MANY MILES AND IF WE WERE EVER IN AN EMERGENCY WE WOULD BE TOTALLY MESSED OVER ON THAT OVER-USED HIGHWAY!Flag

Name: Sue McNamara on Aug 7, 2009Comments: Sligo is one of the more affordable golf courses in the area. With the closure of the little nine-hole course at the FDA location a few years ago, there are fewer and fewer places where kids can go to learn to golf. I strongly encourage the council to work to keep this course open.Flag

Name: Coco Kagan on Aug 9, 2009Comments: It is extremely important to keep the Sligo Creek Golf Course open for the public! This beautiful 9 hole golf course serves a very diverse community. It especially appeals to kids, women, seniors and those who cannot afford to or choose not to join expensive private clubs, but love to play the game. Keep Sligo Golf open!Flag

Name: Anonymous on Aug 9, 2009Comments: Post signs directing people to SCGC at Colesville Rd., Forest Glen Rd. and Dennis Ave and other intersections on Sligo Creek Drive. Organize a weekend-day for a golf course clean-up day for community supporters, similar to the Sligo Creek clean-up days. Proudly promote the unique attributes of the golf course; it attends to the recreational interests of the community like no other golf course.Flag

Name: Ida Mapes on Aug 11, 2009Comments: We need a 9-holes golf course. Golf course should be for a recreation, not a business. I learned to play golf at Sligo Creek golf course. It is good for kids, learners and retirees. It should be classed with tennis courts, soccer fields and other sport areas.Flag

Driving along Sligo Creek Pky and past this peaceful stretch of serene green is truly a pleasure and a blessing!!! Please ensure it remains a treasured and completely free oasis to everyone who chooses to drive by or plays the course!Flag
