Name: Amy Graf on Mar 13, 2009Comments: Woman & gender studies are a very important areas, in wich more edcuation and programs are needed, not cut backs. Mabye by edcuating people, in understanding we can over come the prepetual patterens we have created, through definig and constricting gender and shoving people into to certian boxes, just because they are male or female or whatever. Mabye if people understood feminisim, men wouldnt be afraid to cry, boys would grow up to be nurturing fathers, and women could move freeley though work, play, love, motherhood and life in general without regard to how they move, look or sound and just be... care about their comfort and feelings. Please dont cut these programs... some of us need them to understand, to heal, to become better and over all to teach it to others so more men and women can have the tools to heal themselves and love themselves...Flag
