Comments: I am an undergrad Psych student, pursuing a career in the adv teachings and counseling of Human Sexuality. Therefore I understand the importance of these classes in both lower and upper level institutions. Our youth today are in desperate need of informative avenues that will provide them with facts and not myths on a healthy and safe sexuality.

Comments: I have taught sexuality courses on my campus for 30 years and on HIV/AIDS for 20. My course evaluations consistently address the benefit of these courses to people personally and professionally. I am also the only practicing certified sex therapist within a 300 mile radius. People travel 150 miles round trip to access services.

Comments: Study of sex and sexuality is legitimate, period. Sex and sexuality are inherent to the human condition and thus fully worthy of inquiry and education.

Comments: My research on sexuality investigated how academic knowledge about sexual orientation may be wrong because of inaccurate terminology. We helped bring into question some of the findings about sexual orientation, which could include how sexual orientation impacts children raised by gay families, how sexual orientation impacts health behaviors, and how sexual orientation impacts personal psychological outcomes.
