I feel betray by the writers. I want to believe that we are more than just money for the producers and writers of the show, I guess I'm wrong. The ball it's in YOUR court now, you have a decision to make: you kill Sara off (don't renew Jorja Fox's contract) and lose our respect for you and our willingness to watch the show every thursday or you can renew her contract and keep us happy wich means that we will still see the show and you keep making money. I will be waiting your answer in the premiere of season 8, please don't make that episode my last. I apologize for all the grammatical errors but English is not my natural language.

| 136 | Mary | I sincerely hope Sara Sidle doesn't get killed off. I've been an avid viewer of CSI since the beginning, and what I love most about the show is how the characters interact. In my opinion, killing off any one of them would totally ruin the balance of the show. Also, since the outing of Grissom and Sara's relationship, what message would killing her off send to the viewers? I'm sure most people wouldn't even think about it, but I'm a viewer who catches the little messges this wonderful show gives us about life. In this case, you have a woman who worked hard through a rough childhood, and a man who's life revolved around his job. After years of him pushing her away, Sara never gave up on Grissom, and Grissom took the risk and chose to love. I thought it was such a big step for his character. It wouldn't make sense to end it with Sara dying. For one, it would be so depressing. First, Sara worked so hard in life, and when she is truly happy, she gets killed. Second, Grissom risked everything he worked for to be with her just to lose her at the end. And not only that, but I really think it would be the opposite of what CSI tries to achieve as a show. Sure, high ratings are great, but killing an essential character like Sara Sidle will hurt the show overall. I wouldn't want them to kill off any character. If they killed off Nick in season 5 or Brass in season 6, I would have probably stopped watching. Yes, the show is about death. But the hook is about the living. We, the audience, see how the characters experience so much death around them, yet they still find a way to live their lives. That's what makes the show so special, and that's what keeps the viewers tuned in. CSI would just be another crime show without the characters, so hopefully, the cast will still remain whole after this season. |

We let them into our homes each week, we get to know and love these characters. This season has been great with getting to know them even more. Especially the G/S relationship. I like the science, but it is the characters that keep me watching. I don't watch the other CSI's every week like I do Las Vegas. Grissom and Sara are my favorite characters. Please stay loyal to the show and to the viewers and keep Sara on. |
