   Comments: My wife and I are senior citizens without a car. She is a stroke victim who goes to a doctor in the Stonestown Medical Bldg. She also uses the 17 bus to go to her dentist on Ocean Ave. I do much of our shopping at the various West Portal markets, and use two of the banks there. If you put yourselves in our place, how would you cope HT

   Comments: I have used the 17 since I am a child. I am now 58 years old. When I was growing up the bus service was wonderful. Changing the route of the 17 will only make the already untimely schedule of the buses worse.

    Comments: As a disabled person it will create a terrible problem for me not to be able to use the 17 line. Please reconsider and continue to have the 17 line as it has been all these many years.

    Comments: The 17 line is a vital part of Parkmerced residents ability to access MUNI. In times where we are concerned with energy efficiency, it makes more sense to encourage people to continue to use MUNI as well as draw more people who drive their cars to use the 17 line to make their commute more efficient

    Comments: MUNI is harming the seniors and disabled by stopping service of the 17 bus. It is the only public transport that serves this area. SFSU shuttle has siphoned ridership, but does not serve the senior and disabled. If MUNI needs to be supplemented, SFSU should do that. Do not target these groups of people who are already living under challenging circumstances.

    Comments: I am 80 years old, and the only reason I can still live independently is because the 17 bus stops at the corner of my home on BuckinghamWay. If you take away the 17 I will be trapped in my home. I cannot walk from 19th Avenue where the streetcar stops. Please continue to make it possible for me to live an independent life at my age. It is what I love SF for so much.

    Comments: There are hundreds of residents in Parkmerced and University Park North who will be unable to travel to shop if the 17 bus route is cut drastically.

    Comments: No cuts to our existing services, and maintain our existing services. Do not route new transit through our neighborhood or dead-end it, and make proper investment in connecting directly along 19th ave. to regional transit hubs.
