Name: Eric Ponslet on Jul 29, 2011Zip Code:Comments: I am avid climber and I have visited Red Rocks numerous times, including a two-month stay a couple of years ago. Red Rocks is an irreplaceable resource to the nation and the world. I was particularly shocked at the developer's claim that the development will be invisible to most Red Rocks visitors. I can assure you that the entire Blue Diamond hill is plainly visible from just about anywhere on higher ground in the conservation area. This development would forever destroy the atmosphere of this unique place. Do not let this happen!Flag

It has already changed and this kind of encroachment will only furthur degrade the unique setting.Flag

Name: Kurt Arend on Jul 29, 2011Zip Code: 89004Comments: Mr. Rhodes I beg you to walk into Oak Creek Canyon alone one evening and as you enter the canyon proper, sit down and just listen, look, and feel. Let this place move you like it has to so many before you. Do not be the cause of future generations not to enjoy this. Your development will ruin this view and disrupt so many opportunities to enjoy getting away so close to home.Flag

I like being able to go there and get away from the city sometimes. Take a girl out there so we can just be alone in peace and enjoy the out doors. Don't ruin one of the tourist attractions. Besides if you do ruin red rock that is one more thing you can't advertise to have tourists come to Vegas. Wether it's only one person or alot of people that stop coming because you guys ruined it, that is a good grand you lost in profit and that just minimum. Think about itFlag

Name: Autumn McGrath on Jul 29, 2011Zip Code: 89128Comments: Please do not accept anything in lieu of taking away Red Rock Canyon. This area is all we have in Las Vegas to enjoy nature. Jim Rhodes neighborhoods are terrible anyway. He overcrowds everything and lets thing go quickly downhill. He has no "heart" in his developments, his work is very "shoddy". I lived in Rhodes Ranch before it was even finished, and hated it, it became very "low rent", very quickly.Flag
