Name: Mike Stein on Aug 4, 2003Comments: The simple solution here would be to eliminate some of the extra pages from the other sections. Every single sports team gets their own spread right now, and as exciting as the 12 permutations of football are in our school, much of this could be condensed. (Also note that the music programs often receive only two spreads, covering just Marching Band and Choir) I have no issues throwing away an extra $20 for a larger yearbook, but there's a lot of extraneous sports praise that could be condensed. At any rate, it would be absolutely terrible if the space for individual pictures/senior comments was reduced in favor of keeping all of the "empty space" for clubs/sports. Not everybody is on the field hockey team; everybody gets a yearbook; every senior should have the opportunity to have room for their personal memories.Flag

Name: Erin Cowen on Aug 4, 2003Comments: I think there are alot of other things that can be taken out of the yearbook before senior polls and write-ups. Those are 2 personal sections of the yearbook that students look foward to completing when they're seniors and it's not fair to take them away.Flag

Name: Krisa Allen on Aug 4, 2003Comments: The yearbook is a product and should be tailored to what the buyers desire. The yearbook is a business and the purpose of a business is to make a profit. Changing the yearbook by removing features the buyers have come to know and love is ridiculous on a business and moral level. You're loosing profits if the buyer isnot satisfied and in addition it is outright mean.Flag

Name: Michele Ventura on Aug 5, 2003Comments: Let's face it: the yearbook is for the seniors. We need our senior sections. Other schools pay over $80 for their yearbooks, and I know a majority of our students don't care how much their memories cost.Flag

Name: Jane Shaughnessy on Aug 5, 2003Comments: This is our year, it's totally unfair that senior pages and yearbook rights are being taken away. To make up for write up space, you know kids are just going to buy more pages at the back making it even longer than before. Outrageously unfair.Flag
