Anonymous | MT | in a democracy, the will of the majority is what counts, not the will of the group of persons, which would make our country an oligarchy. The majority voiced their opinion clearly. we decide, not MEPA. stay faithful to your opinion and protect our country

Anonymous | MT | Corruption is corrupting our most beautifull Gozitan natural landscapes, our most relaxing panoramic views, our most clean beaches, our lifestyles and our health. Who will safe us from the coming wrought? A nephew of sir michael gonzi? Surely not!

Rosaleen o shea | IE | Gozo can lead the way by making the most of tourism in a sustainable fashion. Ramla bay is a huge asset to Gozo - especially when compared with the overdevelopment witnessed in Malta itself. Any blurring of the development boundaries in an area like Ramla signals open season in the rest of the island. Preserve what you have - you will end up making more money from it in the long term as you will be able to charge a premium due to its unspoilt nature rather than competing at the bottom end fo the market.
Alberto Manghi | IT | NON TOCCATE RAMLA BAY. TRASFORMATELA IN UN PARCO NATURALE. NON E' POSSIBILE CONTINUARE A CEMENTIFICARE LA VOSTRA ISOLA CON QUESTO RITMO.DOVETE ASSOLUTAMENTE PRESERVARE QUEL POCO DI NATURALE E RURALE CHE E' RIMASTO.
Leonid McKay | MT | I do encourage all to voice their own opinion publicly to save our lovely islands we all know!
Anonymous | MT | Why are we letting rich people become richer by spoiling public goods? Can't they invest in ventures other than construction? Ramla not only has ecological and historical values, but it also has sentimental value for those who spend most of their summers there. Finally, and perhaps most importantly for our politicians, Ramla can best help the tourism industry if it remains as unspoilt as possible. Villas won't increase out employment rate....

Anthony Azzopardi | MT | WE HAVE TO STOP THIS RAVISHING OF OUR ENVIRONMENT. WE ARE TOO SMALL WE CANNOT AFFORD IT.
Trudy Pisani | MT | Malta and Gozo are two small islands. We have limited spaces...limited country side, and limited stretches of natural beauty. This is because we are small. So let us not ruin the areas of exceptional beauty that we have! The area near Ramla Bay, and Calypso Cave, are areas of natural beauty. Building such a construction, would change the character of this place, and would destroy the great value of this place. It is not right for the citizens of Malta, and not right for the future generations. It is especially not right for our country. We must be faithful to our country! I would define a permission for the building of such a construction, as an atrocious crime, one of violence and destruction of a place which have been always appreciated for its natural beauty. We should look at other countries and see how well they preserve their nature, even when they have vast natural spaces. And we are still swimming in the sea of ignorance, where we want to exploit our small country. This is just pure ignorance.
