L.E.ReedijkNLIt is such a good step, that the Maltese public is waking up at long last. The next step would be, to remove this brutal hunting and trapping away from the coast of Gozo and the unspoilt (yes, it still exists!) part of Malta - and a human being might feel at home again on your shores.
Michael P Cassar TorreggianiGBBeing of Maltese extraction, I believe this development is predujical to the environment of Gozo.
VanwelkenhuyzenBEKeep one of the few authentic places on Gozo safe. The island has already suffered too many developments over the last 10 years I frequent it on a yearly basis !
AnonymousGBIt is a great shame that unique beatiful places such as the Ramla 'l-Hamra are being spoilt in the name of progress when the truth is so that a few will make a killing. These few will enjoy their money now but places are being ruined for ever.
Moyra SammutMTThe Ulysses lodge project is an abomination and would stick out like a sore thumb if allowed to go ahead. Why must pristine land and beautiful scenery be a victim to personal gain? Gozo has such a wonderful reputation for its beauty and if it is not people like yourselves who protect it can you imagine the carte blanche for further projects!
Victor BorgMTInstead of adding more structures to the present building of Ulysses Lodge, the latter should be demolished and the area reforested.
AnonymousMTIt is about time citizens get the grib of what is their's and should do whatever it takes to fight for it. The few will not and should not overcome the majority. Do not let it happen!

AnonymousGBI agree with the petition and confirm my objection to the permit.
Alex P GaleaGBFirst the developers uglified Malta beyond redemption, and now they must be stopped from doing the same to Gozo.
AnonymousMTThis is wrong!!!

AnonymousGBWe are slowly but surely spoiling the beauty of our island. If you look at Gharqawqla and zebbug, the developments built at the edge are completely out of context to the rest of the area. Therefore i strongly believe that this development will stand out like and eye sore.

Roger ReinNOI have visited Gozo regulary as a tourist since 1983. It is a shame if the Governement let them build the area with luxury apartements. In my opinion the government should have bougth the property, destroyed the buildings and reconstructed the land. Thats what the people want. Thats a solution for the future. Take care of the envirement, and we visitors and friends of Gozo will still love your island.

AnonymousMTLet us save one of the last few unspoilt spots in the Maltese Islands, unique in its nature and beauty!!!
AnonymousMTPlease do leave our dear Gozo free from any other further environmental damage. Please do also leave Hondoq as it is!!!!! It is such a speculative process to the detriment of all citizens and tourists alike!! Dear authorities, please do something for us, with few or no power in our hands at all!!! We are all left to your mercy!!! Please take plea of our concerns!!!!!! I'm more than confident that the authorities will evaluate both the social benefits and social costs of such projects. If this is done, I'm more than sure that the social costs will overweight the social benefits, and thus, the said projects will be rejected and shelved for life!!

AnonymousMTLittle by little our own supposedly “guardians of our lands” (the MEPA) are sitting idle, watching with eyes wide open the deterioration of the few remaining pristine natural landscapes of our island. What a shame to be on the side of who seeks to get only richer and richer! I’m sure that all these awful tourist developments proposed in Gozo; like the one in Ramla, Hondoq and Ta Cenc are not aimed for the benefit of us gozitans and in the same way or more they will definitely not help the tourist industry in Gozo but most-certainly lead to its ultimate downfall! So let us stand up, and oppose with louder cries, these environmental-threatening moves of selfish investors.

Katie SuttonGBGozo is finished !!! you have destroyed it by your own greed. you will all suffer for the few that get rich. I will never return.
