For more than a decade the Quality Markets on Fourth Street in Dunkirk NY has provided the residents on Dunkirk NY with an affordable place to shop. Whether purchasing groceries, cashing a check, or picking up a cake for your kids birthday, its dedicated employees have been there to provide fresh produce, baked goods, and other essentials at a price we could afford. Now after all these years Quality may have to close its doors. Many of the patrons of this grocery store are pedestrians, single mothers and senior citizens. Closing this store would put an undue hardship on many in our community who can least afford it.
