Since when do we, as a 'humane' country, that rails against the injustices abroad, turn its face to this kind of atrocity There is something to be said about the people governing this state that chose to disregard such hositlity. This is a reflection of the people. What is happening that your citizens and your governing bodies are so complacent about such violence Perhaps it is time to take a closer look at who your constituents really are - and if you are in fact one of them.     Comments: BEyond the obvious horror to helpless animals, it is well documanted that children who are victims or observers of abuse to people or to animals are the ones most likely to grow up and commit violent crimes and more abuse. So essentially the Alabama DA who doesn;t want to stop this activity is taking a position that he wants a state known not only for cruelty but for criminals. All educators, sociologists, psycologists and laity should take a stand to stop the abuse as a crime against both the pigs and the children.
