Name: Janet Round on Apr 7, 2007Comments: I own a very nice Grand Prix dressage horse that has been recently diagnosed with Cushings disease. Pergolide is allowing him to continue being ridden and used as a wonderful teacher to me. Without the ability to provide him with the medication he needs his body and all of his organs would continue to deteriorate and would cause his demise. By the ability to compound the pergolide it makes it an affordable choice of treatment. Without it many horses will be condemned to an early unnessasary death.Flag

Name: Karen Currie on Apr 7, 2007Comments: My 28 year old horse benefits greatly from Pergolide. I would like to know I can continue to help her be comfortable in her golden years. It seems inconceivable that our animals should not be able to benefit from drugs that were designed for human use especially after so many animals have been experimented on to get the very FDA approval for human use in the first place.Flag

The doses do not effect horses the way it may effect humans. You'd save money and horses. Win-Win Situation. Please continue to make this available to the Equine World!Flag
