Name: Elva J. Mico on Apr 6, 2007Comments: As the owner of two Insulin Resistant horses I surely hate to see this taken off the market. I have been relieved to know that if and when my IR horse does develop Cushings there is a medication that will extend her life comfortably. I don't understand this company's reason for removing it - profits I know that is important for a company/corporation, but surely there is some compassion also for those who need the drug. But, maybe not. Thank youFlag

Name: Claire C. Cox on Apr 6, 2007Comments: My mare has been on pergolide since Oct. 2000, without this medication my mare would have had to euthanized a long time ago. The thought of having to euthanize her because of the unavailability of this medication would indeed be a tragedy. Please do not allow this to happen to thousands of horses depending on this drug.Flag

Please discuss this case with leading veterinary experts in the field and do not leave these horses out in the cold. Thank you for your consideration of our urgent request. Susie Gordon, MDFlag
