Comments: This drug helps many many horses and ponies live out their lives in relative peace and comfort who might otherwise be euthanised with no ther way to control Equine Cushings. It is insensitive and inhumane to disallow this drug for equine use with responsible veterinary supervision.

Comments: My horse is 20 years old and recently diagnosed with Cushings. He is in the very beginning states and has no physical symptoms. I compete with him and he is very active - all the vets think he is around 10 years old. I have had him since he was 3 and he is a super, super horse. Thanks to the Pergolide, I expect to continue competing with him for the next few years. He is my furry partner and he deserves to have the best life he can have. Thank you Pergolide!

Comments: With the current economy and growing costs of caring for horses, it has become increasingly difficult for horse owners to manage our older horses diagnosed with cushings disease. Cushings disease has been succesfully treated with pergolide and has greatly improved the health and lives of these horses. The availibility and cost effectivness of pergolide must be perserved so that horse owners will be able to provide and perserve the quality of life for aged and retired horses.

Comments: my horse needs pergolide. His cushing's disease is uncontrollable without it. It causes his hooves to separate between the outer capsule and the inner bone. This part of the hoof is like our fingernail and the quick of the nail. The bone inside his hoof can rotate and then punch through the sole of his foot. This is painful in the extreme and can result in euthanasia. Perogolide has kept his cushing's in control and his feet healthy. Please don't come as a barrier between my horse and the pergolide that has saved his life so far. carol walters
