| 3743 | Susannah Tymms | Please do not allow a tacky theme park to go ahead in Victoria near the very classy attractions of both the Werribee Zoo and Werribee Mansion. While it may be appropriate to allow some developments to go ahead in this area, in light of the pending new marina at Werribee South, the style and type of development will be critical to the long term sustainability of the area. Theme parks are yesterdays entertainment. Nature, riverine and marine experiences, walking, cycling, wineries and cafes will provide for a more responsible, environmentally sustainable and aesthetic future for this lovely area. My friends and I (along with our young children) from Yarraville will not be patrons of the type of development being mooted. |
