| 1 | Shane Williamson | Keep Werribee Open Range Zoo in public hands |
| 2 | Faye Sutton | No way should this "theme park" be built at WORZ.
I'm a Werribee resident and while I don't object to the building of the park, the last place it should be built is at the zoo.
The animals are too important and I would hate to think what effect the noise/increase in people would have on them.
NO THEME PARK AT W.O.R.Z. |
| 3 | Dominic Bertok | Leave Werribee Open Range Zoo as it is! |
| 4 | Angus Urquhart | The Victorian Government should reject the Village Roadshow proposal. Werribee Open Range Zoo is a precious public asset that should not be given away for short term gain. |
| 5 | Dorothy Jordan | I am in disagreement with the incorperation of the zoo being turned into a sideshow that can only harm the Animals inviroment !!
Although the money will help its against my beleifs to mix the two and can as I said only harm the inviroment and the Animals !! |
| 6 | Kerry Prendergast | Please abandon the proposal of the Village Roadshow, this zoo is for the animals and to show respect for these creatures by teaching our future generations that money is not the issue. |

| 12 | Susan Howells | I am most concerned about the proposal to turn Werribee Open Range Zoo into a Gold Coast-style theme park. From a personal point of view, I visit this zoo at least once a year to see the animals and I do not wish to pay, in the entrance fee, for facilities that I will not use. I am also concerned that this development would threaten the zoo's breeding program and its contribution to conservation. |

| 17 | Anonymous | It's not possible for the commercial interests of a theme park to be merged with the environmental interests of a zoological conservation organisation. The animals will suffer if this goes ahead! |
| 18 | kristy janin | Werribee Open Range Zoo is known for its great role in conservation, especially of Australian flora and fauna. They have great projects running to help save the golden sun moth and bandicoots. Turning it into a theme park would be an absolutely horrendous event. Don't let Werribee Open Range zoo turn into just another money making scheme. They have veiws and values! The world needs as many conservation projects as possible. If Werribee Open Range zoo is taken over, what will happen to the other zoo's? |
| 19 | halil hussein | Werribee Open Range Zoo is about conservation not money making. Please let it stay this way! |
| 20 | Bob Dawson | The world does not need another theme park to exploit animals for the express purpose of expanding the corporate or government sectors coffers. The world needs more care and conservation of animals for their sake alone. |
| 21 | Ann Adamson | Our animals' welfare and future far outweigh the short term thrills of a Roadshow ride!!
Hands off Werribbee Zoo. |
| 22 | sonja crawford | |
| 23 | Pauline Smith | Why spoil such a wonderful simple envioronmentaly friendly experience for families? If families want roller coaster rides etc they have Luna park.I do not believe that big business would put the welfare of the animals before the need for profit. |
| 24 | Ila | I am a young girl starting Secondary Collage and i am horrified at the idea that Werribee Zoo could turn into a theme Park. What about the animals? We don't need a theme park!!! |
| 25 | Stephanie | I think that it is disgusting that the government is going to make Werribee open range zoo a theme park I thing that it is appalling. I mean what is going to happen to the animals! |

| 33 | Serra Oner | it is upsetting that people are still keen on ruining beauty and destroy with mechanical and money wasting ideas that known to not get anywhere! |
| 34 | Simon Hawdon | The open range zoo serves it's purpose as both an educational and enjoyable environment to experience animals and habitats that many will never see in the wild, it is shocking to think that we would sacrifice this in place of bright lights and whizzing machines. |

| 37 | Sue Combridge | After recently visiting Werribee Open Range Zoo and marveling at the tranquility and wonderful set out of the park I am dismayed at the thought of it all being destroyed by the theme park proposal. |

| 44 | Stephanie Byrne | My daughter and i have not only enjoyed seeing all the animals but have learned so much at the Werribee Open Range Zoo. This will be a great lose to all Victorians if actions to replace the zoo with a Village Roadshow go forth. Please reconsider. |
| 45 | Dr Virginia Billson | Commercialisation of this valuable educational and community resource is a travesty. |
