Name: Hannah Gordon-Smith on Jul 7, 2007Comments: Please no, not a full season with her! One episode, okay, but that character is not what I want to watch for a full season. I was really looking forward to a new companion, and could we please have some variety too - a companion who isn't female from 21st century London and also isn't in love with him.Flag

Name: Martin Grosz on Jul 9, 2007Comments: I have been a Dr. Who Fan since I was six years old in 1980. Frankly, this show is being run into the ground. There has been zero imagination. It's been nothing be rehashing of old storylines and bad manic acting. By all involved. The current incarnation of Dr. Who (as a series) is simply riding the coat tails of those who have come before. The way I see it, Dr. Who as a series has about 2 episodes left to prove it's worthy of being viewed.Flag

Name: Nathan Dunn on Jul 9, 2007Comments: That character makes me want to punch the screen in frustration, it's such a shame to see David Tennant who's doing such a great job be put next to such a irritating and dull companion. As the petition says i also have nothing against the actress.Flag

Name: Ruble Huff on Jul 10, 2007Comments: Stunt casting is no substitute for good script writing. Besides, Doctor Who is not only watched by people in the UK. It's thickheaded to believe that Catherine Tate is remotely any kind of draw to me or to anyone I know here in the US. I enjoy television that makes me think, not television that makes me yawn or worse, reach for my remote. Doctor Who appears to be headed in that latter direction with this latest choice in companions.Flag
