   Comments: I think it is shameful that Santa Monica is taking down good beautiful trees. Especially in today's age of fast global warming and heightened environmental concern. If there is a problem with any tree, time should be taken on how to restore the tree to health, or solve the issue, before rushing in for the kill!     Comments: on 2602 Broadway there are a number of trees that have been neglected by the new property owner. They are planning to build a multiunit complex and they have not watered the trees for a very long time. The trees are getting brown and will eventually die.
