SWALECLIFFE CHALETS CONSERVATION ASSOCIATION, KENT These chalets, sited on the coast between Whitstable and Herne Bay, are in imminent danger of being demolished to make way for a new, regimented caravan park. Indeed, 3 have been destroyed in the last few days! These brightly coloured, individually designed and unique chalets, some of which have been here since before the war, are an integral feature of the North Kent coastline and part of our English heritage and they should remain!
