Support the Spring Hill GM Plant
On June 1, 2009, General Motors filed for bankruptcy protection. As part of GM's bankruptcy plan, their plant in Spring Hill, Tennessee will go on standby in November as its 3,000 employees and their families wait in limbo. Spring Hill was built on the jobs that the plant provides. The Spring Hill plant currently builds the Chevrolet Traverse, which GM has identified in its cost cutting plan to move production of the Traverse to Lansing, Michigan. Tennessee officials have been very public in their support for the GM plant in Spring Hill. In addition to the work being done by the Tennessee elected officials and economic development organizations, this grassroots movement is geared toward raising awareness and support for the selection of Spring Hill for the production of another quality GM vehicle. If you support our efforts to keep this plant producing quality vehicles, please add your signature below. NOTICE: THIS PETITION IS FREE TO SIGN.
