   Comments: I do not think it is fair to the pitbulls to be killed because the owners make them aggressive, they are not born that way. I had a pitbull when I was a little girl and she (Baby) was one of the sweetest dogs Ive ever owned. Stop the people from making the pitbill bred mean, impose fiines on them, give them strick laws to have to go by, NOT the animal. It is up to us, the ones that can speak. to stop this from going on and to stop any other future bred of animals from seing killed because of HUMANS. Lets all speak for our best friends no matter what bred they are. LETS ALL HELP, NOW NOT LATER.

    Comments: This petition is inhumane. The dogs are not to blame; it is the the irresponible owners who are sick minded and want to profit from inhumane pit bull dog fighting. This is a loving breed of dog, if raised with love and kindness, as all dogs should be. If the Senate wants to pass a bill, perhaps they should pass a bill to protect the PIttys from irresponible owners by requiring a back ground check similar to gun control. If this legislation passes, WHAT BREED IS NEXT This bill must be killed in our house of legislation before it seeps into society for all breeds that your representatives think should be killed. Your representative work for YOU. Tell them what YOU think!!!!!!!!!!

    Comments: I own two pitbulls and I can't imagine owning any other breed. Our pitbulls are sweet and well trained. They get along with all people, children and other dogs. There is no reason to kill off an entire breed just because there were a few bad owners who mistreated their dogs and made the dogs agressive. Our vet says he sees more agressive labs every years than he ever sees agressive pitbulls. Make stricter laws for bad pet owners.. but don't take away our pets who have done nothing wrong.

    Comments: I have 3 pure breed pitbulls. Just so you know I think anyone who is scared of this breed of dog should be punished. I have had 7 of them over the span of 20 years. I had my first pit named Sweetheart when I was 5 years old and she grew up with me. I thank god everyday for giving us such a beautiful creature. By god lets make an example out of Michael Vick and show that its the people and not the dogs. God bless all those on this mission to save an animal that humans gave the bad name to not the dogs. THANK YOU ALL!!!

    Comments: I would love for you to meet my 5 year old Pit Bull who was a rescue from a abusive home. When I got bradi she had been severly burned with fire, she was beaten and was about 25 lbs, she is now 78 lbs and a one of the best things that has ever happened to me. Recently I purchased a Pug this has brought out the best side of brandi, the caring side. Not a bone in her body is mean, she loves kids, people and other animals. I beg you to protect the pitbull, as the meaness that some can have is only humans fults as we are the ones who train them. Please think again before you kill one of the dog who like myself others feel are kind, sweet and loyal. Thank you Very Much Connie Penner Upstate, NY

    Comments: I was so shocked when i heard about this rule and what they are planning to do. I think this rule is very cruel and disrespectful. Pitbulls are living creatures that deserve better, not be treated like this, is the owner's fault that train them to kill and they do nothing but obey the man, they should be put to jail! If shelters just relied on donations and let people adopt pets for free more animals would get homes. Just ask for an adoption donation, not a set fee. Every being has a right to live. A stray hungry dog is happier than a dog who gets killed with a shot! FUCK! I HATE PEOPLE! LEAVE THE PITBULLS ALONE DAMN IT!.

    Comments: Why put down the dog for the owners responsibility any dog can be dangers and aggressive but it's the owners responsibility to control the dog before it gets that far so why don't we put the owners down or better yet the person who came up with this cruel ban. Why not make a law where people who own the dogs have to go to training and obedience schools but not just for the dogs but training and obedience for the owners maybe then there would be less animal cruelty and these poor dogs could live in the world without turning mean.
