andy cocklin | Darts is a key element of thw working man's life and needs to be maintained. I play in a Liverpool league which luckily is steadily growing. Keep our pubs real and our darts alive
Ben Parkinson | one hundred and eighty!

Tom Palin | We have to keep the darts alive in our local pubs otherwise we may become EastEnders fans !!!!
Jamie Venning |
Sam Boon | Being a fairly young guy (16) I think the decrease of dartboards in pubs is not good as there is then no platform for younger people to make the next step from their home to local teams.
Linda Howe | We are one of the few pubs in our area to still have a dartboard. Long may it be so.
andrew stephen |
Lynsey McDonald | Save our darts, it is too good a game to let it disappear!!!
Jayne Chalmers | We don't want "young Yuppie Pubs / wine bars" destroying a national sporting heritage. Revive the Good Old British Pub with all it's games and character. Send the "Sports Bars" back to the USA, all they are good for is square eyes, expensive mass produced alcohol, and killing our traditions.
rob willis |
Adam White | ive been playing darts for around 6 months now, and getting good. really want to play pub team darts, but there are no dart boards in the pubs near where i am!! bring back the dart boards!!

Linda James | I am opening a school in Hammersmith for youngsters wishing to play darts. Do the powers to be not know that its a sport that offers all four disciplines of maths - maths in school is boring - maths while playing darts is simple fun and confidence building..... SAVE OUR DARTS -SAVE THE FUTURE GENERATION'S OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN AND LOVE THE GAME
Linda James |

MARTIN TREMBLAY |
Bill Gough | I think that both codes of darts should encourage the use of dart machines. These are the type you put the money in to use. It would encourage people to play darts in the first place and the they would find a pub / club that have a team. Some teams just don't like begginers.
jenny cain | darts is a fantastic game my 2 kids love it they are 2yrs old and 6 yrs old .SAVE OUR DARTS
kwame dupre | Over a third (34%) claim they’d prefer an evening at the cinema over the more traditional bloke’s night out of a few pints and a game of darts with their mates (18%) (Get real dudes, that's what DVD's are for. Darts 'n Pints...Beer, Darts, & Sex in any order!!!)
| 677 | steve clark | if phil taylor can't save our darts then no one can.
LETS PLAY DARTS |
Michelle Wild |
Steve Hickman | Lets keep the best pub game ever invented, like the great jim bowen said "you cant beat a bit of Bully".

philip john sherring | where i live two of the pubs with dartboards cover the oche with table and chairs, apart from when there is a league game on.such is the obsession with turning pubs into restaurants.
MAGGI O CONNOR | AS THE WATFORD AND DISTRICT LADIES DARTS SECRETARY CHAMPION FOR THE THIRD TIME I WOULD LOVE TO SEE LOTS MORE DART BOARDS. EVERY WEDNESDAY MY TEAM MEET UP FOR A MATCH HAVE A GREAT NIGHT OUT, PLAY OUR GAME AND IF WE WIN ITS A BONUS. MAKE DARTS A NATIONAL SPORT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Denise Cox | I'm captain of our ladies' darts team (The Biggest Busts!) and we have a mixed team but I can never find a board in other pubs. It's a fantastic way of socialising so WE NEED MORE DARTBOARDS.
David Howell | Trying to find a dart League in Fishponds Bristol, there isn't one. There was a league once, it was called the Fishponds & District darts league. What happened to it ?

John Boyce Jnr | such a brilliant game but in the last 6 months ive been to around 40 differant pubs and i can remember 2 off the top of my head that has darts boards im a keen player and im only 17 but my hopes of getting to the big stage may be tarnished because so few pubs have dart boards please please please SAVE OUR DARTS!!!
Dave Dorman | As a Northampton landlord, I can confirm that we have 5 darts teams. 2 mens, 2 ladies and one mixed. We are a small town pub but have a great darts following.
Martin Davis | I am a pub landlord in a small town my pub never had a darts team when we took over we now have 2 mens and a womens team.We have had some great craic with these teams and plenty sucsses it certainly helped me get my buisness back on track.
Ian Patterson-Parker | I really think this is going too far, as a landlord of over 20 years standing (and a dart player) we need to keep this sport in our pubs. It is and always has been a great night out a fantastic atmosphere, and a chance to visit other venues. Take darts away from pubs and you leave us with nothing, It’s bad enough we have to fight to get people into the pubs especially with cheap alcohol being available in superstore at a massively reduced price. I urge all to sign this petition and stop this before it’s too late. Ian Patterson-Parker, The Fox Inn. Honington Suffolk.
Brian Herschell |
Geoff Herschell | More dartboards in pubs, clubs and paces the youth can play. Finding venues for County Youth Teams is a nightmare.
Neil Bunten | bring back the good old game of darts and the pub atmosphere. Too many pubs think they are the next gorden ramsey restaurants leave that to the experts we know where we want to go for a meal out .
SANDRA GREEN | SAVE OUR DARTS PLEASE ITS A GREAT GAME, IVE BEEN PLAYING FOR YEARS.I FOUND IT ONE OF THE BEST WAYS TO HELP KIDS ADD UP AN TAKE AWAY. IT DID THE TRICK WITH ME....
John Somerset | Dartboards should be a perminant fixture in all pubs. There's nothing better than throwing some arrows with some good mates. Come on Breweries/Landlords get with Sky sports and promote the game.
John Somerset | Dartboards should be a perminant fixture in all pubs. There's nothing better than throwing some arrows with some good mates. Come on Breweries/Landlords get with Sky sports and promote the game.
Sheffield Darts Supplies | Well done BlueSQ. Lets keep our darts growing in Britain. We all know we love playing the game and watching 'Barney' etc on Sky. | 699 | mark connolly |
Steve Sneyd | I fully support the campaign, not enough is done to highlight the sport and the benefits it can have on young children. I say take the game of darts into schools and youth clubs. Save our darts!!!!
