Name: Fiona O'May on May 19, 2008Comments: Given the appalling decline in physical activity in our populations (and associated consequences), anything which discourages or prevents parents and children taking part in physical exercise, particularly when through a public body,, i.e. the City of Edinburgh Council, is a disgrace and scandal.Flag

Name: Anonymous on May 19, 2008Comments: If parents took more interest in their kids lives maybe they could spend some time excercising WITH them rather than expecting the local council to look after them at a cost to all tax payers. If the parents gave up smoking and drinking they could give their children a better quality of life and pay for their own childcare if required.Flag

Name: Mhairi Bagnall on May 19, 2008Comments: The creche facilities are vital to Mum's across Edinburgh. I struggled with mild PND after having my second and getting back to exercise was the best thing I did. I could not have done it without access to the creche facilites at the Commonwealth Pool.Flag
