| 251 | Sharon Khouri | Cinema is a valuable asset for any community to keep the kids off the streets, reduce crime rate and generaly improve the prosperity of the area.
Cinema is very much desired by everybody in the Clapton Pond area.
It is much more appealing to have the old cinema reinstated than to build a new one. It is vital for the area to restore the buildings of national herritage, that is what makes Hackney so special and attractive. |

| 285 | Molly Porter | I am pleased to sign and join, and hope your efforts will be successful. I was also happy to learn that your campaign may link with the Rio Cinema in Dalston, our much valued community resource, who would seem to be a natural ally and partner. I used to live on Cricketfield Road, so am somewhat familiar with the area, and in particular can see that regenerating this building for the community would revive the west side significantly. Clapton Pond park improvements across the main road are marvellous. I'm very impressed with such community efforts to improve amenities. |
