The petition reached 100 signatures this morning. I am now compiling these names into a formal document to present to the planning department.

The scale of this response has secured a formal meeting with the planning department next week. I am currently preparing the documentation to present our objections regarding public access directly to the committee.

LEAVE THE CEMETERY ALONE. absolute disgrace even considering this plan.
such a peaceful place as it is. why do they always try to ruin the history of sheffield for money?
this is part of our heritage. please dont fence off the graves.
too many places turned into private property lately. keep it open for everyone please.
my great grandparents are buried here and i walk past this every single week. terrible idea to block it off for private use.

we have family in here only just discovered if after a lifetime of searching and finding the grave it would be soul destroying to see this happen.Let them R.I.P.
