| 151 | Anonymous | how can the council treat people like this.not only are they closing the homes and daycare centres, they are cutting the home care service by 50%. service users are already being passed over to the private sector. Its an absolute discrace that these vunerable people are being treated like this. |

| 155 | Allan M Griffiths | Having had first hand experiencewith my Mother in law I'm appaled at the County Councils decision to close all care homes. My mother in law had senile demnetia and we wouldn't have been able to provide the level of care she required.
The staff at these homes provide a valable and much needed local service. They should be congratulated not made redundant. |
| 156 | Nora Burgess | An absolute disgrace and outrage. This disgustingly heartless Councill cares nothing for the people, and should be removed forthwith. |

| 171 | Eunice Ridge | Outrageous to even think about it..let alone do it.suppose they want to throw all the elderly on the scrap heap.
They themselves will be old one day. unless of course they think of themselves as immortal |
| 172 | Steve Nail | I think the Council seem to forget that they were put there by us, the voting public. Voted labour all my life but never again, when they can do this inhumane act to their fellow, well I suppose ex supporters!!! SHAME ON YOU. |

| 175 | Susan Bickerton | The plan to close care homes and day centres is outrageous. Residents in care homes are about to lose what is their home. It is well known that moving home is extremely stressful and yet Labour want to impose this on the most vulnerable members of our community. Day centres are the only outlet for yet more vulnerable members of society. I strongly oppose this policy. |
| 176 | Kenneth Bickerton | They take their homes from them to pay for their care and then they take their retirement home from them. Elderly people are at the heart of the community. The most fortunate amongst us will all be old one day. We need to fight to make old age something to look forward to and not something to dread. |
| 177 | David Burdon | its about time we all make a stand for the care of the elderly. Dont forget we may need that care in the future. |
| 178 | Anonymous | We are all getting older, even those councillors who are voting for closure. They are selling the family silver, put there by the taxpayer. They are our homes as well as theirs and for some of us, our future. From what I have seen the people who work in them are completely dedicated. Profit margins should not affect elderley care. The Tories started all of this and Labour are accelerating this process of closure. There seems to be £££££'s for education but only £'s for Care. |
