Name: Anonymous on Aug 17, 2009Comments: My elderly mother uses Reading buses frequently and the bus would no longer go to her nearest bus stop on Butts Hill Road (and this is already a fairly long walk for her). In addition I know of children who use this bus to get to and from Waingels College and this would no longer go anywhere near the school.Flag

Name: Christabel Winny on Aug 18, 2009Comments: The proposed cuts will result in isolating a huge number of Woodley residents, many of whom may think twice about the expense of ordering a taxi. How will families manage with young children in tow, pushchairs, shopping, etcFlag

Name: Shahid Younis on Aug 23, 2009Comments: I use this service on a daily bases. Any further reduction in the service will severally adversely impact me. As a perspective councillor candidate for this Ward, I have consulted many local people on this issue. The feedback is unanimously against any cuts. In fact, they would like this service to be further improved.Flag

Name: Roger Gibbs on Sep 10, 2009Comments: The new route totally excludes people living on the airfield side of Woodley. My daughter has just got a job in Reading and relies on this service to get to work. The loss of this service will also affect students who go to Waingels College who will now have to use alternative transport (i.e. car etc.)Flag
