Who likes sports, arts, or music? If so you should read this. We need our arts, sports, and music. We express ourselves through all of these activities. The School District is thinking about cutting these programs. The movie, "Music Instinct Science & Song" proved that children who studied music had larger brain activity. Even as adults. They use a skill we use everyday, science, to show that showed the difference between the brain of a non-music student and one that plays music. The student that played an instrument had the larger brain activity. Where would the Art Museum be if people did not take art classes? Would we have made the Rocky Statue if no one could sculpt? Would movies have music if we didn't teach on how to make the music? And what about the sports? Those football, baseball, basketball and every other sport we love watch, what happens when no one can have the opportunity to play those sports and be on TV. They bring us happiness and even relaxation. The School District workers that drive to work or those that take septa or bikes, most of them listen to music on the way or listen to the games they are missing. We love all of these activities and they help us advance in life. We can get scholarships to go to college and make something of ourselves. We can't do that if we don't do something about it.
