Name: Mike Jones on Jun 22, 2007Comments: I find it unbelieveable that this college can be so ungrateful to its prime benfactor. Perhaps I should not be so surprised when you see that they ignored his wishes regarding the direction of graduate studies and then doubtless as a result of bad management have the timerity to sellNuffield Place. I wish you every success with is petition Mike JonesFlag

Name: Ian Ghirlando on Jul 3, 2007Comments: This house has to be saved for the British nation. How many more important British heritage treasures are going to be sold off by people in power who have no sense of responsibility towards this once great nation. The nation that ignores it's past has no future!Flag

Name: Andrew Jones on Jul 4, 2007Comments: In addition to Nuffield's contribution to the motor industry, his single minded support of Professor Sir Robert MacIntosh was instrumental in the development of the specialty of Anaesthesia. And I say this as a Liverpool anaesthetist (Professor Cecil Gray). His home has been preserved for posterity and should stay that way.Flag

Name: Steve Newall on Jul 13, 2007Comments: Only heard about this by chance. The local media should get behind this, so that more public support can be generated. I hope that we are able to save this important part of British history. The dropping of the word 'British' by the Motor Heritage Museum near Warwick is a good example of how 'Britishness' has become something to be ashamed of. I hope this campaign will succeed.Flag
