Wigley on Apr 26, 2009Comments: It is my opinion, if numbers are not fudged in the feability study....the end result will be that better service and efficiency will not result by consolidating New Castle P&DF any of our mail processing operations into the Pittsburgh General Mail Facility. Additionally, it is my opinion that any further loss of jobs in our area will have a devastating impact on our economy as well as the local tax base.Flag

Name: Bonnie Hildebrandt on Apr 27, 2009Comments: the people of new castle and surrounding communities need the US postal service for many, many reasons. we have lost so much over the past 20 25 yrs, this is just about the ONLY place left that employs a great amount of people. i think, it would be devastating to the communities if it were moved.Flag

Name: David P McIltrot on Apr 27, 2009Comments: I cannot support the AMP study to move operations from New Castle to Pittsburgh. Many individuals and businesses rely heavily on the services provided at New Castle and this would therefore put them at a competitive disadvantage. The immediate negative economic impact outweighs the proposed savings of moving operations to Pittsburgh. I request that the postal service stop their AMP study of New Castle.Flag

Please save our plant. There are so many other ways to help the USPS save costs and one being to make our Postmaster General and his top management return their ridiculous incentives that they should of never received in the first place.Flag

This will have a devastating impact on the employees working here who have dedicated a large portion of their lives to serve these communities.Flag
