We, the ball players in the NCR 3 pitch league, respectfully request you keep the 3 diamonds standing and allow our league to continue. We have 30 teams with roughly 15 players per team (over 400 adults) and use the diamonds Monday to Thursday, every week, May to August. There are precious few diamonds in the city already and these provide much needed fun and exercise for many people, some of whom have played in the league since it's inception in 1980. We are sure you could develop the rest of the site, while leaving the diamonds and some parking. This would be a tremendous goodwill gesture to the community.

The momentum is incredible. It is clear that this community will not let these diamonds disappear without a fight.

Ridiculous to think about tearing these down. kids and adults use them constantly, find somewhere else to build!

This league is the highlight of my summer. been playing there for 10 years and it would be a huge loss for the whole city if these diamonds go.

We need more green space not less. my husband plays there every Tuesday and he loves it. leave the diamonds alone.
