| 101 | Anonymous | A convicted child molester...a true danger to society and children are returned to the streets...their crime beyond a normal persons understanding....but a dog that didn't attack...didn't bite is sentenced to death for a scratch and a torn piece of material? Is that justice? |

| 104 | Brenda Fernandez | Let our voices be heard for those who can not speak for themselves. Our thoughts and prayers are with you in this time of need. |
| 105 | Anonymous | SAVE ROLO! We need 150% more common sense in this country and the story of rolo is proof of this need! Dogs sometimes will be a little more rough than some people would like, but it does not mean they should be murdered in the name of so called justice. I hope rolo is freed and the evil humans of jefferson county government are held accountable for poor treatment of a loved dog, wait! not just a dog, but a very much loved family member! FREE ROLO!!! |

| 107 | Raquel Maciel | I am so sorry that you have to go through this for your dog. I feel every bit of what is going on. I had to deal with this as well several years ago.
My dog was falsly acussed of biting an individual when it wasn't even my dog, but I had to go through the motion before I got my dog back and pleaded not guilty and took it all the way. I have a doberman and the girl that accused my dog described my dog as a rotwiller with clipped ears. My dog don't even have clipped ears. It all ended in my favor but the heartache that was felt at the time cannot be compensated. Good luck in your conquest and If there is anything else I can do...If I am able I will do all that I can... |

| 111 | Matthew E. Voigt | I read the transcript and can't believe a judge would take the opinions of five people who are obviously having an emotional reaction to this situation over the City Attorney and Animal Management. If the dog had actually meant to attack the woman or child they'd be dead, and so would Rolo and the professionals know that. I'm sure if the owner had known better she could have been prepared for the hearing and easily come up with just as many people to testify in her dog's behalf. If a few panicking parents are allowed that level of influence over a judge I'm wondering where the witch hunt in that neighborhood will go next. Glad I don't live there. |
| 112 | Staci | I feel that this is such a sad situation. Whoever wrongly accused this dog or exaggerated actual events should be held accountable for false reporting. |
| 113 | Cynthia | Release Rolo! Good Luck! |
| 114 | Anonymous | Please free Rolo. I have read the transcripts and if this is not a clear case of a neighbor trying to get money then I have never heard of one. Since when do we live in a country that is ONE strike and you are out? This dog and owner should be given a chance to make things better for her as well as her neighbors. |
| 115 | CJK | I thought torturing animals was a crime, but that is what you are doing!!! Inhumane!!! You have rapists, murderers, arsonists, etc getting off 'easy' yet you sentence this animal to death for a scratch??? If this isn't resolved and there is an afterlife, I hope you all rot in HELL!!! |
| 116 | Benny Pittman | |
| 117 | Carolyn Carpenter | SAVE ROLO !!!!!!!!! |
| 118 | Dina Eledge | This is cruel and unusual punishment for Rolo and his family!!!
Everyone knows that dogs can sometimes hurt people, and this dog did NOTHING that any other big dog wouldn't do in the same situation.
This dog deserves a second chance!!!!! |
| 119 | Jack Rivers | I really hope they free your dog. |

| 122 | Tom Martella | This is typical behavior from a public and judical system that places too much concern toward humans (that usually cause the problem) rather than a balanced view. I've read your story and will gladly sign. |
| 123 | Laura Kloeppner | |
| 124 | Cynthia R. Turner | Euthanizing Rolo would be wrong! It must not happen! |
| 125 | Anonymous | I do NOT believe Rolo should be put down soley based on this one-time minor transgression. Too many people are taking advantage of minor situations which only takes away from the serious ones. The "victim" should not have taken this so far! |

| 130 | Anonymous | This is NOT a crime worthy of death. Please have compassion and kindness in your hearts. |
| 131 | Carey DePetris | I have a German Shepard also, I can't even imagine going through this. I think the whole thing is a crime! What ever happenend to 3 strikes. Micheal Vics dogs got better treatment when they were taken away! |
| 132 | Melanie Manchester | Obviously after reading the responding aminal control officers report, the neibor is a big fat liar. To kill a lovely animal for a scratch is ridiculous and needs to be stopped. |
| 133 | Paula Durkin | This is insane. He looks like a sweet dog. Good luck. |
| 134 | Jill Caldwell | |
| 135 | Rhonda Babirad | This is an outrageous situation of animal cruelty!! It sickens me that the city is responsible for such cruelty. Even if a dog is vicious and has mauled someone ( of which your dog did not do) it should not be made to suffer in conditions such as this!! |

| 138 | Anonymous | So we are going to destroy an animal because in a moment of exitement he tore a woman's dress? Or because the neighbors are afraid of him barking at the fence and have decided he is vicious? This is crazy and lacks even simple common sense! Are we to destroy every dog that barks at a fence now! |
| 139 | Rebecca | This is absolutely ridiculous...that an innocent animal can be taken and possibly put down for NOTHING. OUTRAGE!!! I can't believe this happens in this day and age. I fear for my own family's dogs.
:( |
| 140 | Wendy | If I could, I would join you in your camp-out campaign. I feel your pain and will pray that the judge frees Rolo...and you! |
| 141 | DANIELLE KNUDTSON | this is a family dog... please free him he deserves tobe home wiht his family not stuck in a kennel |
| 142 | Anonymous | As a parent of a dog, my heart goes out to you. There needs to be an animal behavioral expert on this case. Not just a couple of government paid animal control officers. Best of luck to you and Rolo! |

| 148 | Anonymous | FREE ROLO!!! |
| 149 | Lacey Salaiz | This is an outrage. This is an animal who accidentally scratched someone. If people are so content with bringing pets into their lives of any sort, they must realize animals are still animals. They have instincts such as biting scratching barking meowing running after other animals. We brought them into our society, some people may not like that but until there is a law passed that states no one can own any type of animal than we must conform to animals as they have conformed to us. If a human being had scratched another human being even maliciously, I doubt it would warrant putting them in solitary confinement for 14 weeks and with the possible chance of death if thats what it comes down to. This is out of control. Just because some people do not like animals and feel they need some justice of there own on the behalf of everyone who is overly afraid of animals because of the news and media and people who don't take care of their animals properly., this is not appropriate. I do not particularly like children. I just am not comfortable around them, but if someones child bit me or scratched me I would not take it as far as this pathetic case of ignorance amongst animals. I might be upset and let the parents know, but i would never call the police and accuse the child of malicious intent. This is ridiculous. It's amazing how many other important things are going on in this state and how much other time and money could be spent on correcting issues that affect everyone, just not animal lovers or haters. What has this world come to, when an animal can be put to death for nothing more than a small scratch or bite. But a human who possibly could do the same to someone and with an intent to hurt and harm never gets reprimanded. I am disgusted with the state of colorado. This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever had to read about or for that matter listen to on the radio and news. Yes this issue warrants more newscasts than the real criminals getting away with much more than just biting or scratching someone. I am ashamed for the first time in my life to even live in the state of colorado. With such ignorance excuding from the general public about animals, because it gives them a break from having to care about real issues that affect everyone, not just the animal lovers or haters. |
