    Comments: I find it surreal that a program that has touched the hearts of so many could be eliminated with the stroke of a pen and WITHOUT input from those it affects. I run a large business and I understand tough decisions are a part of that, but I also know there are always alternatives and they should be explored. Not seeking help/input from the numerous football alumni prior to making this decision indicates how little insight and big picture thinking was behind it. Come on MTU, it's not to late.KEEP THE FOOTBALL PROGRAM GOING!!!!!!!

    Comments: MTU should consider the impact that this decision will have on the local economy. Many Football families visit MTU for games, stay at hotels, eat at restuarants, buy merchandise, etc. Also, the Footbal team consists of around 100 players, many of which might attend other schools that have a football program.
