    Comments: My father died last July 05 from a stroke in Monaghan General Hosipital..If there was a CT scanner & back up services at monaghan (which by the way were promised by the present government) his chance of suvival/life was very high..get a grip bertie & co give us back our hosiptal with full services..enda fields

    Comments: I live in Monaghan and feel very strongly that the hospital remains open. Years ago when Ireland was less well off Monaghan had a hospital with all facilities to me it does not make sense closing down the hospital.

    Comments: I think its an absolute disgrace what is happening with the hospital in Monaghan. A good health service is everyones basic right and our rights in Monaghan are being denied. If certain services must be discontinued then put in place a decent accident emergency unit and save lives.
