   Comments: I have a 01x and a i88x, and I can only sync them via a Mac, but I want to use the 01x and i88x standalone 16 channels (24 with adat). On a PC it can be done, but I'm using a Mac.

    Comments: though i haven'y posted much, i've been reading the forums regularily...i would love to say this equipment is great but these shortcomings are a real pain in the ass....i'm completely reluctant to even start my projects because of all these issues..i don't want to be a few hundred hours into something and have to ditch it all because errors become too noticeable...do something fuck!!!! i'm now seriously looking at other gear, it's going to be a very long time before i buy or recommend any new yamaha gear. wise up guys..

    Comments: I hope Yamaha also improves the Studio manager, it looks like it was designed by some kid in a weekend university software contest camp! What a horrible excuse for a virtual software mixer for the 01x. How do you explain the sub par studio manager compared to the wonderful DSP factory Pro tools killer software interface that was easy to look at and work with; and that came out years ago!!! How can grown men who run a trillion $ comapny go backwards!! Please don't let the 01x go the way of the dinosaur the way the DS2416 did. Thanks Brev Sullivan

    Comments: I think that Yamaha underestimate exactly how many of us are fed up with the quality of the O1X when using the OSX operating system. I have bought several items from Yamaha in the last 20 years, the last one, may have been the O1X.

    Comments: Companies that are tiny compared to both Yamaha and Apple have excellent stable drivers dealing with both audio and midi over Firewire - with the resources Yamaha and Apple combined have at their disposal there is simply NO excuse! Users are not interested in whose fault it is that things don't work, they just want it fixed!!!!!
